Due to Coronavirus/COVID-19 Progress Clothing has been unable to service clients directly. Any social workers/service agencies/churches/community leaders who would like to take clothing for their clients/members/families can schedule an appointment with us to pick-up as many grab bags as they need (including on the weekend).
Participating groups do not have to be from Lawrence only.
The grab bags are organized by gender and category of clothing (men's jeans, women's shirts, etc.). We have casual- and work-wear. The clothes can fit about high-school age and up. *No children's clothes*
Please email us at to schedule a pick-up. This is for service providers only to distribute to their clients. Please, do not send your clients during this time
The Thrift Store will continue to be closed to shoppers and donors for everyone's safety during the pandemic.
Today, we had a lovely visit from a referral partner and their client. Bread & Roses Soup Kitchen brought a client that is homeless but is trying to line up some employment. It was a fun visit. The individual was a great guest to say the least.
